4/17/2024 2:09 PM This is a page from a Rabbinical death record from Vilnius in 1894. The record of interest should be the second one, M345. I am trying to figure out if it is my great great grandfather, Mayer Levin. The age and father's name are correct, but I thought that he lived another 8 years or so...

Ideally, I would like to have both the Russian and Hebrew (?) translated to compare what they say.

I have the translated info from LitvakSig - but want everything that can be extracted from the original.

Thank you so much!

4/17/2024 2:08 PM Can anyone help identifying anything in this image? For example, where this house may be, when it might have been taken?
There is no information on the back of the photograph, which came from a box of old family photos.
The family lived in Latvia and Lithuania, near the towns of Rokiskis and Subate.

4/17/2024 2:07 PM I would like help identifying the children in this photograph - or at least the time period and place where this was taken.
The only information the back, which is formatted like a postcard, are the words "FOTO BAYER".
My family came from Lithuania, but close to the border with Latvia and they moved back and forth between the countries, so it could be Latvia or Lithuania where the picture was taken.
With thanks, in advance!

4/17/2024 2:06 PM Gravestone for Aron Weiss, who died on February 24, 1909. Stone survives in the Koźmin cemetery. Photograph kindly taken and provided by Paweł Bajerlein. I would appreciate help translating the Hebrew. From the German text, I understand Aron was 95 at the time of his death, which occurred on 3rd of Adar, 5669. Thank you in advance! ‎מ׳ רבקה גאלדא בת ר׳ אוסמן

Died on the 2nd of Nissan, 5688

4/17/2024 2:05 PM this writing is on the back of a photograph belonging to my extended family who emigrated to the US from Ukraine (then Russia) at the beginning of the 20th century. The photo is of a young couple - could be a wedding photo perhaps. I understand the name Hershel appears in the writing. It would be wonderful to have the rest translated into English if at all possible. With thanks! View the post, there are no responses
