Can anyone interpret what these given names are on an Ellis Island passenger Manifest? I don’t recognize these names. In the left image, the names on lines 14, 15, and 16 look like "Henne", "Jeil", and "Gtzits". In the right image, the name looks like "Wichne". I’d appreciate any help on the interpretation of these names.

This is on the back of a typically 1930s photo of two children, almost certainly taken in the US. Can you read the writing? Thanks! |

Can anyone interpret what these 3 given names are on a Hamburg passenger manifest dated 1889? I believe that these 3 people are a mother (the top name), and her two sons. The left image shows how the names were written on the index page; the right image is taken from the actual passenger manifest page. Can you read these names? |

I'm particularly interested in the name Mordechai (Motel) FAERMAN, which I think is listed, but there's something else in parentheses after. Also, any other pertinent information. |
