4/20/2024 9:25 AM Emanuel Levi, aged sixty-one, owner, and his wife Daylet Leib, aged fifty-five, both resident in Bliescastel, here present and consenting to the marriage. The bridegroom declared on oath that, as he had heard, his paternal grandfather, Israel David, a merchant resident in Wesel, and his paternal grandmother, whose names were unknown to him, had died in Wesel in the years eighteen hundred to eight hundred and ten, but that, as confirmed by the extract he presented, the relevant death registers contain nothing about their deaths; - the four witnesses named below affirmed on oath that, although they knew the bridegroom, the last place of residence and death of his paternal grandparents was unknown to them. - The bridegroom produced the attached certificate of the Royal Prussian Government in Düsseldorf, dated the second of December, issued by the Lord Mayor of Barmen and duly registered by the Royal District Office of Zweibrücken, according to which there is no legal objection to his marriage in question.

The first proclamation took place in front of the main door of our parish hall on the tenth of the month of December, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one, at noon, and the second, on the seventeenth of the same month and year, also at noon; in the same way the first and second proclamations, according to the attached certificate, took place on the same days in Barmen.
