I am interested, please, in the translation of the box at the bottom right corner of the photo, line 78 box 12, regarding Efroim Josef Melinker (Melinger). Efroim Josef Melinger is a brother of my great-grandmother. I am wondering if this box is noting the marriage of Efroim to Ruchel Szeindel Schifeldrim, mother of Mojzesz, and perhaps that the marriage was recorded in 1916. Thank you! |

I would be very grateful for a translation of this headstone. It is for Benjamin YABLONSKY c1841-13 Mar 1894. I understand that the stone is very weathered but would really appreciate anything that can be retrieved, the stone is entirely in Hebrew. |

Marriage record of Ajzyk Bajrach BURSZTYN and Fajga GERTLER, AKT #72 recorded in Lublin in 1915.
Ajzych Bajrach, age 23, is the son of Abram Jankel and Szandla Estera URMAN.
Fajga, age 22, is the daughter of Ecek Ejzyk and Golda Ruda nee BLUMENSZTOK.
I am looking for the date of marriage. I believe this document might also give the date of the banns.
Thank you. |

For Max Sprincen, whose family is outlined in yellow in this 1900 US Census, what did the census taker write under "occupation?" The 1905 Census lists him as a shoemaker. Max was actually a rabbi, a teacher and a scribe, noted in his death record and on his gravestone.
I would also like to know what the numbers above his occupation say/mean.
Thank you. |
