The Reisfeld, Lewin and Schmelkes families of Brody were religious and they were prosperous. There are likely to be marriage records, property records, wills, etc.

11/14/2021 12:19 PM Part of an accounts book of my great-grandfather's general store at Pitt Town, a NW outer area of Sydney. One page of documents held by NSW State Archives from his bankrupcy case. He had been a convict, born in Warsaw, but free before the 1860s. I'm curious about whether this has product names & quantities and/or customers names or locations. Also whether the "flavour" of Yiddish suggests anything about his background.
