Completed photographing and indexing of Klishkivtsi Old Jewish cemetery. 77 burial records and 77 grave images were sent to JOWBR at JewishGen. The records will be available in June of this year, but you can see now at Bessarabia website the Cemetery report with maps, some photos, and also the Unknown Graves at the cemetery (58). 43rd IAJGS International Conference, London, July 30 to August 3, 2023 Bessarabia SIG is going to participate in the event. We will have Bessarabia SIG meeting, participate in Share Fair, also I will teach a class: Computer Lab-Genealogical Research for Bessarabia/Moldova genealogists and more. Bessarabia Winter Symposium:
History, Genealogy, Culture. 13-15 December 2022. The Bessarabia Special Interest Group and JewishGen invite you to participate in a Virtual Winter Symposium, a series of live, online presentations to run from December 13 through 15, 2022.
Sessions will explore historical experiences of our ancestors in Bessarabia, assist your family research, and expand your understanding and appreciation of their culture.
You will meet presenters from Canada, Germany, France, Brazil, Moldova, Ukraine, the United States, and perhaps others. Presentations will delve into ideas and issues that are relevant not only to Bessarabia but also to other regions. See the schedule for the Bessarabia Winter Symposium.
