Akta 4 is my great-great-great-grandmother’s brother’s 1857 marriage record from Zaręby Kościelne, Łomża, Poland. I would like it translated in full (or at least everything that isn’t the standard wording of a marriage record).

Names that I would expect to see in the text are:

- the groom: Wolf WAJNTROB;
- his father: Abram/Abraham WAJNTROB;
- his mother: Mirka Idźkowicz;
- the bride: Chana Jochwa SEGAŁOWICZ daughter of Izrael.

5/17/2026 8:37 PM This image is an excerpt from Sniatyn (at the time part of the Autro-Hungarian empire) in 1858. It's the homeowners' registry. This is the only record I have of my great-great-great-grandfather Hersch Schifer (our name evolved in Schifres later).
I am interested in the line above and the line below his (so only the lines highlighted in yellow) but I would need the headers translated as well. I don't speak german.
I can read Moses Schifer (line 261) but I can't read line 259. It's another Schifer but I can't read the first name. I also don't understand why there is a "Strumberger Chaim" in line 259 below, and I am hoping the german between the two names would share some light in the matter, or if not, the remarks at the end of the line on the right. I want to know if this is a married couple, or what other reason they would both be mentioned. Thanks in advance!

5/17/2026 8:35 PM I believe this is Aaron Kramer and his wife Celia née Kuretsky. This the only known photograph of the two. There are photos of them on their gravestones, but they have withered away.
