Is the child named Szymsio (like the Heberw name for Samson: Shimshon?) or Szyja or Nojmosio or Szymsia or something else?

Can you also identify the actual date and full parent's names?

Thank you.

7/1/2026 5:27 PM Hello,

Yes, the child is named Szymsio.

He was born in Sokołów on 3 October 1850 at 7 a.m. [07:00].

His father was Berko Moszkowicz [son of Moszko] MĄKA, a day-laborer, 29 years old, residing in Sokołów.

His mother was Fejga née [daughter of] Mendel, 25 years old.

——

I believe the name "Szymsio" is related to Simon (Shimon).

Berko is from the name "Ber."

Moszko is from the name "Moshe."

Fejga is from the Yiddish name "Feiga."
