7/5/2026 6:49 PM I'm trying to get a full, careful transcription and translation of this marriage entry. The ages given are 22 (bride) and 36 (groom), with a date that appears to read 28 (Julian/Christian calendar) / 22 (Hebrew calendar).

I would especially appreciate help confirming:
1. The groom's given name, patronymic, and surname
2. The bride's given name and patronymic
3. Any place of origin, occupation, or parents' names/status mentioned

7/1/2026 4:17 PM This is a family photo, from around 1920. My great-grandfather Sam Jaffe is on the right, with with Cousin Shalic (on the left). Sam Jaffe was born in 1892 and passed away in 1956. Sam lived in Brooklyn, NY, while his cousin Shalic lived in Philadelphia, PA (where this photo was taken).

On the back of the photo is a short note in handwritten Yiddish (I think), and it would be great if someone is able to translate the entire Yiddish text to English. 		View the post with its 2 responses

7/1/2026 4:17 PM This is an old family photo, with my Great Grandmother Sarah Leder (her maiden name) on the right. The photo was taken around 1920, before she met my great grandfather Sam Jaffe. I don't know who the man is in this photo. My Great Grandmother Sarah was born in 1897 and passed away in 1996.
