There are historical sources that the Jews lived in that place for about 500 years. Already found archival documents provide information about Jewish life in Kaushany up to 250 years.
My parents lived and studied in Kaushany before World War II and many of their ancestors resided in that place in the 19th and 18th centuries.
After I researched the history, genealogy and culture of Jews in Kaushany and published Master's theses in Hebrew College, Boston, 2012, many families who lived in Kaushany or their children and grandchildren expressed interest and contacted me.
