This is the back of a photograph /postcard. The card has the stamp of a photo studio in Chicago, IL. The front of the postcard is a photo of my great aunt Julia Weinstein (maiden name). 4/22/2026 4:10 PM In the Jewishgen Marriages and Divorces database, I just discovered this 1888 possible Divorce Record-(number 14) for my great grandparents Shmuel, son of Yevsey Dedinsky and Ryvka, daughter of Nakham Veyner.
I would very much appreciate your help in getting this "divorce?" record translated.
I have not been able to find their original marriage record and did not even know that my great grandparents had been married, divorced and remarried until the wonderful people on jewishgen translated and explained to me that the 1889 marriage record I had found earlier was actually a remarriage.

4/22/2026 4:09 PM Though not related to recent genealogy, I think many of us would find this stone’s inscription interesting. It is in the cloister attached to the Lateran Basilica, the seat of the Catholic Bishop of Rome (aka the Pope).

The stone is located few feet from a purported former tomb of Mary Magdalen. I found its appearance in this place astonishing.

Please translate the inscription. Any additional thoughts would be appreciated.

4/22/2026 4:09 PM Attached is a request for identification papers from the Lodz Ghetto of Hinda Dwojra Brodska, in Polish and German. This was the name of my second great aunt, as well as the name of her father, Szmul Majer. The birth year is similar, only her mother was named Sara Bajla (nee Guttmann). She was married to Israel Isidor Glupczynski. I would like to translate the document to be better able to determine whether this is a different individual. Thank you. 4/22/2026 4:09 PM This is a postcard sent to my relatives, surname Vinitzky (in the States they took on the surname Weinstein). The family is from Filipow (Filipova) Poland. I imagine this is a relative that was still there in 1922.

I am curious if anyone can identify the wrought iron fence and its location in the town. I do not know the identity of the young man (boy?) and welcome any information on his identity as well.
