7/14/2021 2:07 PM Top L and Bottom are postcards sent to my maternal grandparents in Czernowitz at Springbrunengasse 42. Top L is signed Salomon, top R Bertha, surnames unfortunately unknown. The girl is possibly named Edith.

My grandfather was Isidor/Itzie Grünberg born in Korolowka, father Abraham Grünberg, mother Chanie Gitel Ast. My grandmother was Regina/Rachel Binder, father Jacob Amster, mother Henie Binder/Morgenstern.

The family moved to Vienna around 1914/15.

I am looking for his date of birth....this may be a delayed birth record.
I also believe his death date is recorded on the left side of the document. Would like confirmation it is July 10, 1939?

Jonathan Michael Wien kindly translator some of this but I would like to have a translation of the columns after the name of the mother and the name of her parents.

I am especially interested to find out if any of the additional information has the declaration of someone claiming to be the father of the child.
Any other additional information in addition to the father would be a plus.

I know it is difficult to read but any information would be very helpful.

7/11/2021 12:19 PM This is a notice of changes of name by immigrants to Israel, from the official journal Yalkut HaPirsumim. There are three entries for members of the Katolik family, changing their name to Sarig (numbers 229834 - 229836). Gershon retained his given name but his wife and daughter changed theirs, but they are hard to read. It looks like Tauba-Sarah became Yona ? and possibly Bluma became a name I don't recognize starting with P or F. Does anyone have an idea what this name is ? View the post with its 2 responses
