Can anyone please identify this word on an 1872 Krakow death certificate. Interestingly enough there are two other entries of the same word on this page. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Document concerning Meir Yehuda Kalter. Is this is a Proof of Citizenship? What exactly does it say (including the stamp at the bottom). What might it have been used for? Thanks very much! |

Question about the date: this inscription by my great-grandfather in Vienna ("Zum Andenken an die Gross-Eltern gespendet am ...") seems to be dated "4/7 917". Does that mean July 4, 1917? Was it common to leave the thousands digit off the year? |

Picture taken in Warsaw 1927. Identity of this man is unknown. Perhaps the Yiddish writing contains a clue. |

I found this postcard among my grandmother's papers. The text is in Yiddish and the address appears to be Russian. I would appreciate your help in translating this. |
