Page 1 of 2 of a notarized document with the names of my maternal grandparents, Haim and Lieba Yadushliver. Also mentioned is my grandmother's mother's maiden name, Fridman. Language is Romanian, and I would love to see it translated. The notary public seal indicates the city of Tuzora, Orhei District, Bessarabia Province |

I would like to know the English translation of both the verbage and the address.
It is the back of a photo post card.
I believe it is written in a combination of Polish and German. |

I would love to have a full translation of this postcard to my uncle Leo.
This note to Leo Fink was written, I think, by his uncle Yasha Finkelstein from Cordoba, a suburb of Buenos Aires, Argentina. While Leo and his siblings Sol and Esther came to the US, Yasha went to Argentina. He stayed in touch with the Fink/Finkelstein family, who lived in New York after emmigrating from Russia/Poland/Ukraine.
This may be a mix of Yiddish, Spanish and Ukranian--not sure.
thank you
see also the postcard from Yasha to his brother Sol Finkelstein in NY, uploaded separately.

I'd love to have a full translation of this postcard from my gu Jasha Finkelstein to my gf Sol Finkelstein
This may be a mix of Yiddish, Spanish and Ukranian--not sure.
This card was sent by Jasha to his older brother Sol in 1928. Jasha emmigrated from Russia/Ukraine/Poland to Argentina in the 1920s while Sol went to the US. I don't know when Jasha married, but his wife's name was Louisa. The brothers stayed in touch their entire lives. Any info you can provide would be most welcome.
thank you
see also the posting for a postcard from Jasha to Sol's brother Leo Fink. |

My gf Sol Finkelstein served in the Russian Army in WWI. He was injured, captured, sent to a hospital (possibly in Danzig) and then to a POW camp (likely in Germany or Austria). I think he was working as a translator and so likely was an officer.
I found this card online in a Russian State Military Historical Archive. There are several Sol Finkelsteins listed, but I don't know whether any of them is my gf. I'm hoping to find the card for my gf by learning how the person on this card was injured and where he was imprisoned.
Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.
thank you

I would appreciate anyone’s translation of this town’s name. This town is mentioned many times in the Tarnogrod Yizkor Book. I cannot find any town with a similar name in the Town Finder or the Gazetteer. The author of this chapter is from Lukowa. Thank you. |
