6/9/2021 1:00 PM Leopold Schoen was my great-grandfather.
Notice the town says Saros. That is a the name used for Sarospatak. Took me a while to figure that one out. It's a lot like Újhely is used for Sátoraljaújhely, Hungary.
This is his naturalization document. Notice the right page says he was born in Palonzn (not able to find that) I thought that may have been Paloznak on Lake Balaton, since Sarosd is near Lake Balaton. But then his sister's birth in Plavnica, Stará Ľubovňa, Prešov, Slovakia per the other naturalization document I sent in may mean that it's actually Plavnica instead of Palonzn or Saros. Leopold's sister was Regina Schoen Platz.
Hoping you can help solve this. I know it's possible with the pogroms that the different locations are a result of pogrom migrations to different shtetls.

6/9/2021 12:58 PM I would like help deciphering the names in this marriage record. Surnames Cerf (groom) and Hiller (bride). There is another Cerf-Hiller wedding during the same year.
