This is a headstone for Dora Weissler, died in 1908, in the Washington Cemetery in Brooklyn, NYC. I would like to know what the Hebrew on the headstone says, and if by any chance at all it mentions her husband who in the US was named Hyman (Herman) Weissler. This photo is from find-a-grave, I apologize if it is difficult to read, I live in Arizona so will not get my own photo any time soon. |

This is a page from the passenger list for the La Touraine that sailed from Havre to New York in August 1902. Line 19 lists a Leib Chaim Weissler; I cannot read the Last Residence column at all (just right of "Austrian". The transcribed place on the record in ancestry.com is Garhopek. I do believe he was from Galicia but even trying to imagine what someone heard when they wrote it down, I can't come up with anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Akta 65 is my great-great-grandfather’s sister’s husband’s 1859 birth record from Zaręby Kościelne or Slomy, Łomża, Poland. I would like it translated in full (or at least everything that isn’t the standard wording of a birth record).
Names that I would expect to see in the text are:
- the child’s name: Abram Motel/Moszek IGŁOWICZ;
- his father: Mikhl;
- his mother: Mindli Abramova.

Attached is what I believe to be the death record of Juli Edel (עדל) Susitzky (maiden name unknown), my fourth great grandmother, the wife of Jacob Susitzky (entry #39), written in Hungarian and German (column heads).
