I will appreciate your help in translating this 1850 Russian Revision Lists record, for family #76. The record came from FamilySearch microfilm.
Head of household: Avraham Yosef Grinberg, age 24 - Lanovtsy, Volhynia. The wife's name was Tsivye, age 22. [Family #76 is second from bottom, on this record.]

I will appreciate your help in translating this 1858 Russian Revision Lists record, for family #84 - Lanovtsy, Volhynia. Family number in previous revision lists: #76. This record came from FamilySearch microfilm.
Head of household: Avraham Yosef Grinberg, age 32. [Family #84 is at the top, on this record.]
The wife's name was Mariyam, age 28. She was apparently the second wife of Avraham Yosef; the first wife was named Tsivye, and she appeared in the same household in the 1850 Revision Lists.
A daughter named Menia Vela (1/2 year) also appears in this 1858 record.
The basic information for this record is available via Kremenets District Research Group (KDRG). I am interested if there is additional info about the Grinberg family written on this page, specifically about wife Mariyam and any other children. Thank you. |

SUBJECT: Looking for additional info on Gitil Grinberg, 1858 Russian Revision Lists, text line #14, to family #84 (#76 in previous revision lists); Lanovtsy, Volhynia.
I will appreciate your help in translating this 1858 Russian Revision Lists record, for Gitil Grinberg, who was added to the family Avraham Yosef Grinberg and wife Mariyam - Lanovtsy, Volhynia.
Text line #14, to family #84 (prev family #76). Image came from FamilySearch microfilm.
This record was appended to the Revision Lists at the end of the 1858; and the reason for Gitil being added to this household, at this date, is unclear. I am interested if there is additional info re: the Grinberg family written on this page.
Gitil is known to have had relationship with other siblings of this family (she is my great grandmother), so we are looking for details. Unfortunately, the age column is obscured, but 1858 would be about the right date of birth, based on known info. Thank you. |

This is Samuel Cohen (1890-1970) and his wife Mary née Kuretsky (1900-1982). They were married in 1920 and lived in New York City. They had 4 children, (Nathan Cohen, Murray Jacob Cohen, Shirley Perlow, and Mildred Kotch). |

Isidore Kuretsky (1887-1951). Son of Bertha née Buchman, and Issac Kuretsky. Husband of Shima née Kuchikov. Father of Hyman Kuretsky and Yetta Cutler. Brother of Elias Krance, Harry Kuretzky, Mary Cohen, Sophie Ashepa, and Abraham Kurens.

This is the passenger address listed in a Steamship Ticket Purchase Ledger with Rosenbaum Bank in 1894.
I am trying to obtain a translation or understanding of where this passenger was from. The ticket purchase entry for her husband has the same address.

Am trying to identify this passenger's address in Lithuania written in Steamship Passenger Ticket ledger in Philadelphia, 1894.
I recently posted the same address from the wife's entry. This is the same address but from the husband's entry.
Upon further inspection now, is it possible the top line is not a name at all, but the town name Upyna (misspelled Upine)? There is some indication in other docts the family came from Upyna (in Taurage district, Rossieny region, Kovno province). (Apologies if my Lithuanian municipality designations are misnamed).
I don't know what the other words in top line might refer to.
Might "Mis" be part of the town name (like greater, smaller, upper, etc as in Hungarian town names)?

Avraham Farkas was my great grandfather (Satu Mare, Hungary region) and my uncle Stanley Farkas had this photo. My grandfather Jacob (arrived NYC,1932, birth in "Combausa, Roumania") and great uncle Shmuel (survived WW2 (wife & children murdered), arrived Israel, lived in Petah Tikvah) were the only of Avraham's children known to survive.
1. I would like to find the plaque's location (likely NYC or Petah Tikvah?)
2. I would like to make sure that the names are registered at Yad Vashem and/or other relevant places to honor the victims.
3. I would like to find any other genealogical information and history related to my family that the information in the plaque can lead to
I appreciate any assistance anyone can offer, or if you can point me to the appropriate person or resource who can help.
