9. It took place on the eighteenth day of February in the year of eighteen fifty-two, at the hour of eleven in the morning, in the Town of Pyzdry. Appeared personally a Jew Haskiel Karo, a stallholder, thirty-six years of age, residing here in Pyzdry, and, in the presence of witnesses, namely a Jew Mosiek Poncz, a bookbinder, forty-two years of age, and Menke Bykat, a day-labourer, seventy-four years of age, both residing here in Pyzdry, showed us a child of the male sex, born on the twelfth day of February of the current year, at the hour of six in the morning, here in Pyzdry, from his wife Marya Karo nee Kaplan, twenty-six years of age, to whom, during the circumcision, the name had been given Dawid. This act was read aloud to the appearers and subsequently signed in Polish by the father and witness Mosiek Poncz whereas by Menke Bykat in Hebrew.
