This appears to be the marker for Dov (aka Benjamin) Kritberg, son of Yehuda of blessed memory, died 4 Tamuz 5672. Will someone please help me understand the honorific on the first full line? Thank you for considering.

Here lies

my father, my teacher, the crowning glory of my head

Reb DOV son of Reb Yehuda, of blessed memory [this refers to the father]

Kreitberg

who passed away on the fourth of the month of Tamuz

in the year 5672

May his soul be bound up in the bond of life.
------------------------------------------------------

‘Reb’ is an honorific; it does not mean rabbi.

Dov is Hebrew for bear.

Yehuda (here spelled with an Alef at the end, rather than a Hay, making it a Yiddish spelling rather than Hebrew) is Judah

May his soul be bound up in the bond of life.

The 4th of Tamuz, 5672, began at sunset on June 18th, 1912, and ended at sunset on the 19th.
