Please transcribe Hebrew and translate line by line. First two lines, and next to last line are particularly difficult for me. Thank you.
The death took place on the seventh day of Pesach, 1882. The name is Eliezar ben Joshua?

This is a challenging stone to tackle while in the midst of last-minute Passover preparations! I will do my best.

It is a child’s stone.

Here is the translation, although it is difficult to do it exactly line by line:

Here lies

a beloved and pleasant boy,

his name: Eliezer son of

Yehoshua, the days of his life

were few [or: bent, see my comments], because G-d took him,

in the evening of

the 7th day of Passover

of the year 642 according to the small count [=5642]

The 7th day of Passover of the year 5642 began at sunset on April 9th, 1882, and ended at sunset on the 10th. The phrase “or leyom” means that he died in the evening that began the Hebrew date; in other words, after sunset on April 9th, during that night.

The word that gave me the most pause was the first word on the 4th line. I first thought that it might be a ‘typo’ for the word ‘me-utim’, small in number (from the word me’at), but my dictionary tells me that there is a word ‘mutim’, which means bent: ‘the days of his life were bent’, which also makes a sort of sense, given that he had died young.
