Category: Translation - Tombstone Approval Date: 4/24/2024 12:25 PM Family Surname: Samilson Country: USA Town: Queens, NY Date of Image: 2019	Click the picture to enlarge	This is the base of the Samilson family headstone in Union Field cemetery in Queens, NY. My great great grandparents, Harris Asher and Rebecca (Simon) Samilson are buried here. Harris' surname was Angenitsky and he changed it before he left his birthplace of Simnas, Lithuania. His father's name may have been Solomon or Samuel. If it's not totally readable I have another view of part of it.

4/24/2024 10:27 PM	[Right side]: REEBA/REEVA Samilson [Left side]: ASHER Samilson Without dots, it is hard to know whether Rebecca’s name was pronounced Reeba or Reeva.
