4/24/2024 10:05 PM I suspect that there are some typos in the both parts of the double name of the deceased.

Here lies

SHLOMO MICHEL son of Yona

May his soul be bound up in the bond of life.

--------------------------------
Shlomo is Solomon; Michel [MI-chel, with a short β€˜i’ and the β€˜ch’ as in Chanukah]. There are various opinions as to the origin of the name Michel. One obvious possibility is that it is derived from the name Michael; others insist that it is a nickname for the Hebrew name Yechiel.

Yona is Jonah.
