I have managed to find the birth record for my great aunt Frieda SLATER/ZLOCHEVSKIY. It's the first time I have been able to find her father (my great great grandfather) in any records. I would really appreciate if anyone could translate this (I believe there are both Russian and Hebrew sides to the page) for me.

5/14/2025 9:38 PM To clarify the earlier responses: the child's father is named Gershon and his father was Gersh-Yudko in Russian. In Hebrew, Gersh is Zvi and Yudko is Yehuda. Although records often specify the father's registration status as meschanin (townsman, petit bourgeois, philistine), this just says he is a member of the Aleksandrovka community. The child's name is written as Frada in both languages. The birthdate is December 1, 1895 on the Julian calendar, but then (midrash.org) the Hebrew date should be 26 Kislev, not 5 or 6 as shown in the record. In fact, in the record below this one, the dates are recorded as Dec. 2, Kislev 27. So the Hebrew date in this record is in error. Finally, the Hebrew says the girl's father is R. Zvi Yehuda. The R here stands for the equivalent of Mr., not rabbi.
