It came to pass in the City of Piotrków on July 26, 1868 at 2:00 PM that there appeared [before us] in person Jankiel Goldryng, a trader living in this city of Piotrków, age 25, in the presense of Icko Litfak, a laborer, age 51, and also Danil Wigdorowicz, synagogue sexton, age 70, residents of the City of Piotrków, and showed us a child of female gender, stating that she had been born in the City of Piotrków on the 15th of the current month and year at 6:00 AM to his legal wife Hinda (née Eidelsztein), age 25. This child was given the name Sura Riwka. This document was read out to the petitioners and to those present and duly signed by us and by those present, except for the father who does not know how to write.
