son of Reb Ela Schor
son of Zundel from Klevan

Sender is the popular Yiddish nickname for the name Alexander. The Talmud relates how Alexander the Great, King of Macedonia, was respectful to Shimon the Kohen Gadol High Priest in the holy Temple in Jerusalem. In appreciation to Alexander for not destroying the Temple, the Great Rabbi's declared that Jewish boys be named after Alexander. As a result since 333 BCE Alexander and its Yiddish sobriquet Sender have been a popular Jewish name till today.

Ela is the sobriquet for the name Biblical name Eliyahu- the prophet Elijah.
Zundel for hundreds of years has been the Yiddish sobriquet for the name Chanoch.
Klevan is a town in what was once the Rovno District, Volhynia Province, Russian Empire. it is about 50 mils away from Kremenets District, also in the Volhynia Province.
