The proper woman [I am guessing at the word "proper", because the engraver broke it into two parts]

A giver of charity

BAYLA Essel, of blessed memory, daughter of

Reb Layb Lazerik, of blessed memory,

She passed away 3 [or: 9] Cheshvan 5590
-----------------------------------------------
Bayla is a Yiddish name.

"Reb" is an honorary title; it does not mean rabbi.

Layb is Yiddish for lion. Some men with this name have a secular name related to lion, such as Leo, Leopold, etc.

The 3rd day of the month of Cheshvan of the year 5690 corresponds to November 5/6, 1929; the 9th day would correspond to November 11/12.

The heart of a smart man will make his mouth wise, and he will exert himself with [studying] Torah and [doing] good deeds.

He observes "I will keep G-d with me always" [this is a sentence often found in synagogues]

DAVID son of Avraham [Abraham]

He died on the 28th day of the month of Kislev 5694
--------------------------------------------------
The 28th of Kislev, 5694, corresponds to December 15/16, 1933
