This is the second image of two associated with my first image submission re Hyman & Cippa.
I noticed this section of the inscription on their headstone that was very weathered, so have taken a second photo specifically of it.
I’m interested in what it translates into.

On  Response
10/9/2025 5:19 AM 96 years old
A sincere, unblemished man (quote from Book of the Prophet Iyuv-Job,1:8) and god fearing
His sons, daughters, daughters in law and grandchildren, their families and those that knew him all mourn them
The five bottom letters are an acronym for a verse "May his soul be bound in the bundle of life," A direct quote from the Book of the Prophet Samuel / Shmuel A, 25: 29, that is traditionally engraved on Jewish tombstones
10/9/2025 5:31 PM It seems to me that this stone is not "weathered", but that someone has removed some of the (presumably) metal lettering (you can see the holes where the letters had been attached).

The right edge of the image is cut off, so that the word for "their families" is missing three leading letters.

... at the age of 96 years.

An unblemished and honest man, and G-d fearing.

Their son, their daughters, their daughter-in-law, their grandchildren,

their families, and those who knew them, are mourning over them.

May their souls be bound up in the bond of life. (The same 5-letter acronym represents one of three possible readings, depending upon the context: May his soul be bound up in the bond of life; May her soul be bound up in the bond of life; and, as in this case, May their souls be bound up in the bond of life.
