Обявляем, что в присутствии свидетелей:
Лейбка Финкельштейна и Рубина Гершензона
Заключен религиозный брачный союз между:
- уроженцем города Терсеполя евреем Бенямин Лейюп (похоже по произношению на Лейб) Кац, холостым (1 брак), 20 лет,
сын Хупа и Ханы, супругов Кац в городе Терсеполь проживающих и содержащим себя из шинкарного промысла (Небольшие питейные заведения, которые были распространены в то время на Руси именовались шинки. Владелец их соответственно носил название шинкарь.),
при этих же родителях содержащимся.
и
- девицею (1 брак) еврейкою Либа Нехулия Шляфштейн, 21 год.

- Beniamin Leiyup (pronounced like Leib) Katz, a native of the city of Tersepol, a Jew, single (1 marriage), 20 years old,
The son of Hoop and Khana, the Katz couple, who live in the city of Tersepol and support themselves from the shinkar industry (Small drinking establishments that were common in Russia at that time were called shinki. Their owner, respectively, was named shinkar.),
who was kept by the same parents. and a
-Jewish girl (1 marriage), Liba Nehulia Shlyafstein, 21 years old.
