On  Response
8/27/2025 4:44 PM Oof, the image resolution is highly borderline.

Number 59. Dated in Nagytarna, 19 July 1897.
Informant: Sámuel Neufeld, Talmud teacher, residence Szárazpatak, whom the below-written registrar knows personally.
Deceased: Márton Grün, Jewish, smallholder, residence and birthplace Szárazpatak, age 45 years
Spouse: widow Mrs. Márton Grün Róza Róth
Father: the late Farkas Grün smallholder Szárazpatak
Mother: the late widow Mrs. Farkas Grün born Háni Márton
Death: Szárazpatak, 18 July 1897, 2 p.m.
Cause: tuberculosis
Remark: Samuel Neufeld declared that he bears direct knowledge of the death and was asked to make the report by the deceased's ?? [either _neje_ "his wife" or _veje_ "his son-in-law"]. [Something about the registrar and the chief county administrator and decree 378 of the current year, but I can't make out what happened or why they're mentioned.]

Szárazpatak ("dry creek") in Ugocsa county was later Avaspatak ("stale creek") and is now Valea Seacă, Romania.
