Yehuda is Judah. Note that it is spelled here using Yiddish spelling conventions, rather than Hebrew.

'Reb' is an honorific; it does not mean rabbi.

Yaakov is Jacob.

He passed away in the month of Adar I. During a Jewish leap year, the standard twelfth month, Adar, is replaced with two months, Adar I and Adar II.
