Time and Place of Record: Łódź, 28 April 1857 (16 April 1857 in the older Julian calendar), 10 a.m.

Witnesses: Juda WOLF, baker, 51 years old; and Eliasz Berek HORYN, synagogue sexton (shamash), 41 years old; both Jewish, both residing in Łódź

Religious Marriage: 27 April 1857, in the presence of the bride and groom, the groom’s parents, and the bride’s father, all of whom consented to the marriage

Groom: Szyma Majer CYLICH, Jewish, unmarried, 21 years old, residing with his parents in Głowno, son of Abram and Perła Cylich, merchants

Bride: Tauba LEWKOWICZ [née GŁUCHOWSKI], Jewish, 30 years old, cotton worker, residing in Łódź; daughter of Ejzyk Głuchowski, living day-laborer residing in Łódź, and of Hinda, deceased; widow of Chaim Lewkowicz, who died on 17 July 1855 (5 July 1855) in Łódź
