Here lies

an unblemished and honest man

Dr. ELIEZER son of

Moshe David, he passed away 10 [?]

Iyyar of the year 5680

May his soul be bound up in the bond of life.
-----------------------------------------------------
His date of death is partly hidden, but it seems to have occurred between the 10th and 19th of Iyyar, 5680, which covers the time between sunset April 27, 1920 and sunset, May 7th.

The German describes him as a town doctor, born in 1864, died on _____ 1920 of spotted fever (epidemic typhus).

It says that he died as a victim of his ______. I cannot make out the last word, but it might mean that he died because he caught the disease while ministering to his patients?
7/8/2025 1:50 PM Surname is obviously FEUERSTEIN
