Hi, I’d like a full translation of this document to English or French.
There is a note added few years after (1923) the birth (1919) that may be related to a civil wedding of my grand grandparents.
We are note sure about that my grand grandfather is the true genetic father, so these information may help to understand the history of my family.
Thanks a lot to whom could help me

7/6/2025 11:24 PM No. 848.

Łódź, 9 April 1920. Today before the undersigned civil registrar appeared Chaja-Ruchla Iglicka, unmarried, without occupation, 24 years old, permanent resident of the settlement of Zelechów [Żelechów], of Jewish religion, in the presence of witnesses: Rafał Szuman, baker, 48 years old, and Jankel Rusak, merchant, 40 years old, both residing in Łódź; and she [Chaja-Ruchla Iglicka] presented a male child, born in Łódź on 25 December 1919 at 4:00 in the afternoon to her and an unknown father.

The child was given the names Majer-Rubin.

This act was delayed due to illness on the part of the mother. It was signed by us [the civil registrar] and the witnesses. The mother is illiterate.

[signatures—that of Rafał Szuman is written in rather crude Russian cursive, seemingly with a first initial “M.”]

[later note:] “In the marriage certificate at the civil registry office in Łódź on 13 March 1923 under no. 327, the father, Izrael Szuman, designated the child Majer-Rubin as his own. Hereby this note is made. Łódź, 20 November 1923. Signed by the magistrate of the above civil registry office. [unreadable name of magistrate].” Łódź, 11 January 1924.
