It would be wonderful if you could help decipher this postcard to a cousin, Max Moritz.

Parts are obscured as you can see. Thank you so much. We can translate the German, it is just hard to read the handwriting.

Thank you so much in advance for your help,

Helen Singer

7/2/2025 12:10 PM The handwriting is tricky, but this is more or less what I can make out:

Lieber Max, unser Aufenthalt hier geht zu Ende. Morgen geht es nach K?. Siegm[und?] bleibt noch 8 Tage. Es war sehr schön hier... Lachen die Kinder tüchtig Sport [?] Viele Grüße - herzl. Gruß ... Walter ... J Dreifuß ... Hilde
7/3/2025 8:44 AM the first location might be Kassel? The next word could also be Siegen. Difficult to guess without any geographic frame.
Bald (...) wieder (...).
Viele Grüsse Zilla
Herzliche Grüsse (...)
Gruss Walter
(...) Gruesse Siegmund (?)

7/4/2025 10:50 AM Mr Dreyfuss already translated what could be. I am responding to the location question, I read it as Siegen. Siegen is where the first steel works in central Europe were founded by a Bosch. The Boschs were a prominent family there, who were known to be an extraordinarily progressive family supporting higher education in the natural sciences, especially their daughters, which was very rare in central European history up until the 19th centry.
