Hoping to learn the name stamped in this concrete ledger. Burial probably dates from the mid 1920s. A second photo shows the whole ledger. Thank you for considering. (The letters were temporarily marked with dry used coffee grounds, which were removed after the photo was taken.)

The name is written with Yiddish spelling, and I have transcribed them phonetically.

The name might be Belle or Bella

The last name might be something like Bawnet or Bonnet
6/29/2025 8:18 PM Hello Amy,

The surname could also be "Bennett". The fist name could be Bella or Belle (female). Or if this is the tombstone of a male, the name could be Bela (which a Hungarian masculine one).

Yiddish spelling is used for both names.

Jo
