Informant: Heinrich Stern, chandler, residence Szent Katalin, whom the registrar knows personally.
Father: [blank]
Mother: Lina Gelb, Jewish, maidservant, residence Szent Katalin, birthplace Lakompak, age 19 years.
Birth: Szent Katalin house-number 50, 12 August 1896, 12:30 a.m.
Child: girl, Jewish, name --.
Remark: The child was stillborn. Informant declares that the birth occurred in his house, he has direct knowledge of it, the child was examined by police physician. The death is entered in the death register for the current year under number 76.
Read forth, approved, and signed.

Szent-Katalin, later Pósaszentkatalin, Vas county, now Sankt Kathrein im Burgenland, in the municipality of Deutsch Schützen-Eisenberg.
1895, 1898, 1900, 1902 gazetteers say civil registry was in Monyorókerék, which is now Eberau, Burgenland, Austria.
1907 and 1913 gazetteers have the name as Pósaszentkatalin and the civil registry office in Németlövő (Deutsch Schützen).
The mother's birthplace was Lakompak, Sopron county, which is now Lackenbach, Burgenland, Austria.
