Please translate the Hebrew on my great grandmother’s grwvestone.

6/22/2025 3:55 PM First, I'd like to make you aware that ViewMate has a category called "translation - tombstone", which is the best place to post gravestone images.

Here are the relevant details:

Her name was BAYLA ZEESSEL, both of which are Yiddish names.

Her father was Yosef Meir. Yosef is Joseph and Meir [pronounced may-eeer] means one who brings light.

The date of death was the 29th day of the month of Av (the eve of the first day of Rosh Chodesh -- the New Moon -- of the month of Elul). The year was 5676.

Her father was a Levite, descendant of the tribe of Levi.

The remainder of the text are lines of praise which I will translate if you want. Some of the phraseology is totally new to me, and the text is very flowery.
