Rabbi Isaac Elchonon Cemetery, 232 Fuller Street, Everett, MA, USA. 1401 burials total.
The Rabbi Isaaac Elchonon Cemetery Association, Inc was established 13 March 1920 according to an inscription at the base of The Blumenfield Family Plot. (see photo attached) The cemetery includes burials from 1911 to 2021. For the purposes of this data set, plot location is counted in rows from the Washington Street entrance. The original official cemetery plot numbers appear as “Section” numbers in brackets in cases where the original signage - cement uprights - is still in place. Among the headstones that have fallen or are damaged, there are thirteen headstones that have toppled and cannot be read at all. See the attached file for locations, and GPS where these can be found. This set of data, photographs, transcription and translation provided by Pauline Shapiro Flanagan, in honor of her family, Eastern European and Baltic Jews who settled in Connecticut and Massachusetts in the 18 and early 1900s.
