"Note: As of July 2017 - Wellwood Cemetery administration office has relocated into the Beth Moses administration building. Beth Moses Cemetery is adjacent to Wellwood Cemetery.
This Society plot encompasses all of Block 39, however, the Society was liquidated around 2010 and less than 1/3 of the plot was used for burials at the time of liquidation. The unallocated grave sites were returned to the Cemetery for future resale so many future burials will be of people not affiliated with the Society.
Where photographs could not capture relevant information from a stone, the stone was examined directly to extract the information. Where the stone was inaccessible (due to dense plant growth, etc.), the Cemetery's on-line database was used, as was the Society's hand-drawn plot map on file at YIVO. These resources were also used to supplement information available on a stone."
