Cemetery Description:	Mount Hope Cemetery, Independent Brotherhood of Yonkers (Section 4), 50 Jackson Ave, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, USA. 524 burials total. Independent Brotherhood of Yonkers Cemetery has a marked entrance on the Saw Mill River Road side of Mount Hope cemetery, north of Jackson Avenue. It is a part of an Orthodox Jewish concession subdivided into synagogue and burial society sections now all designated Section 4. Founded in Yonkers, N.Y according to the YIVO Archives http://www.yivoarchives.org/?p=collections/controlcard&id=34306 The Brotherhood purchased graves and functioned as a burial society, provided sick and death benefits, and retained a physician. It used three cemeteries: King David, Mount Hope, and Ferncliff. Dissolved around 1978. Cemetery map
