Cemetery Description:	The oldest local Jewish Cemetery, the Mt. Wood Cemetery offers a panoramic view of the Ohio River, much of the city of Wheeling (including Wheeling Island, the largest inland island in the U.S.) and the Ohio side of the river. The cemetery contains the remains of the founders of the Jewish community of Wheeling, and is the final resting place of a virtual Who's Who of the area.
