The cemetery was founded in the middle of the 19th century. After years of decay, it was reconstructed together with the ciduk hadin, where a small museum is located. Mr. Ludovít Chládek has great credit for the reconstruction and exemplary maintenance of the cemetery, including the restoration of tombstones. Mr. Ludovít Chládek is also the author of most of the photos that he kindly made available. There are 256 tombstones in the cemetery, 13 of which are no longer identifiable. 256 people are buried under the remaining 243 tombstones.
