This was a project sponsored by JewishGen and Rostov JewishGen Family Finder Registered Researchers. The burial list of the Old Jewish Cemetery of Rostov, Russia covers the years 1870-1907. It is found in the State Archive of Rostov Region Fond 72 List 2 Item 12. This was a group effort in order to see this project through to fruition. It was coordinated by Eric Feinstein. The research in Rostov was done by Natasha Orlenko. The transcription of the 297 register pages was completed by Marina Royzner Smetanyuk. It should be noted that sometimes the letter "D" appears as part of the plot location. This is likely a reference to the work "deti" in Russian which means children so that these burials refer to children that were buried.
