1/9/2022 12:01 PM	The date is lengthy: London, with the help of G-d, 18 Marcheshvan, Monday (preceding) the (Torah reading) Parshat Chayei Sarah 5688. (This is actually a bit 'off', as the 18th of Marcheshvan was a Sunday that year). The corresponding secular dates are November 13/14, 1927. (If I've read have the year wrong, please let me know). The text reads, "To my beloved father, as a remembrance of the days I resided in London." The signature is a bit of a puzzle. It might all be Hebrew/Yiddish, in which case it reads Hey-Lamed-____, spelling something like Hal___. Or, it might simply be the letter Hey, representing the first letter of his Hebrew/Yiddish name, followed by a script letter "H". Can you tell me the name of the writer? It might have been helpful to see the address side of the card.
