Requesting a translation of this birth record. Information that I can read (and other information I have) is consistent with the family surname ELYOVIC, not DAVIDOVIC as indicated for the father's name. Is there anything within the record that might explain the recorded surname?

Informant: Meshel Dávidovics, agricultural day-laborer, residence Bilke, known personally to registrar.
Father: Meshel Davidovics, Jewish, agricultural day-laborer, residence and birthplace Bilke, age 43 years.
Mother: Dvojra Moskovics married name Mrs. Mechel Dávidovics, Jewish, day-laborer-woman, residence Bilke, birthplace Kisfalud, age 35 years.
Birth: Bilke, 7 November 1895, 3 p.m.
Child: girl, Jewish, Reiza.
Read forth, explained in the Russian language understood by the informant, approved, and the illiterate informant made his mark.

Kisfalud is likely Szilce-Kisfalud, which was later Beregkisfalud and is now Sil'tse, Zarichchia, Ukraine.

There is nothing on this register page indicating anything about a different surname than Dávidovics.
