No.. 263, Berlin, April 29th, 1900

The groom was Willy Grossmann, (I cannot read his occupation), Jewish, born on February 20th, 1876, in Berlin, residing in Berlin, Linienstrasse 240, son of the accountant Adolf Grossmann and his wife Lina nee Croner, both residing in Berlin.

The bride was Martha Gehr, seamstress, Jewish, born on May 2nd, 1874, in Crone an der Brahe, district Bromberg, residing in Berlin, Weydingerstrasse 8, daughter of the Master Butcher Julius Gehr, residing in Inowratzlaw, district Inowratzlaw, and his deceased wife Rosalie nee Gehr, last residing in Pakoshc, district Mogilno

The note at the top right of the margin, dated April 13th, 1939, says that Martha had to take on the additional name of Sara. The second note, dated November 1st, 1953, reverses this.

I misread the marriage date; I apologize.

It was April 20th, 1900 (not April 29th).
