It appears that your great-grandfather visited Israel at the invitation of this cigarette company. The company wrote on his behalf the the department for seeking relatives (this was in Jerusalem) and stated that your great-grandfather was staying at a particular hotel until the end of the month, so the request was urgent. They provided the following details about the nephew: In 1935, he was living on Mount Carmel in Haifa, and owned a small restaurant.
