My grandfather searched for his nephew in 1952 and I would like to know what he found

This is a response to your great-grandfather (in which the name is clearly given as Parivsky or Paritsky), and he is told to turn to the specific department that deals with seeking relatives, in Jerusalem.

(By the way, the first document, with all of the typed material, is from a later date, as it refers to the Internet. It is a relatively current report about the original request).

In this note, the text the info that Marcus son of Aharon and Taube lived in Haifa.

The heading says "Who recognizes? Who knows?"

To me, this means this is the text announced in the "Relatives Search Department" program on the radio. This program ran for years right after the midday news (2 PM if I remember correctly) and the last line was part or of the specific search announcement and simply means "if you know this person or know of him contact the Relatives Search Department at the following address".

It's not as though someone was referring you GF to the dept. in Jerusalem. There was only one such dept. and he's already in contact with them.
