The dear woman and woman of valor,

the homemaker and glory of her children and grandchildren,

Mrs. RACHEL LEACH daughter of Reb Moshe.

She died at a good old age, on the 3rd of Marcheshvan of the year 5692.

May her soul be bound up in the bond of life.

'Reb' is an honorific; it does not mean rabbi.

The 3rd of Marcheshvan (this month also has the shorter name of Cheshvan) of 5692 began at sunset on October 13th, 1931, and ended at sunset on the 14th.
