The police president of Vienna certifies on January 23, 1939 as a proof towards authorities that about the actual residence of Mrs. Frieda Hönigsberg ,from Kirchschlag, born in Kirchschlag on August 15,1912, in he central office are following exists.
30.10.37 Announced for further stay , Kirchschlag VI Hugo Wolfgasse 2/5.

The Austrian administration had two different kinds of registration:
1. The quality as a citizen of a certain municipal jurisdiction (Zuständigkeit). This does usually not change when you move, and gives you certain privileges and duties at that place.
2. The population register (Melderegister) at the actual place of residence including the address.
Frieda Hönigsberg was born on 15 Aug 1912 in Kirchschlag, and has resided at the given address from 30 Oct 1937 and still resides there at the date of the document. Most probably she has never left town but has moved within Kirchschlag in 1937.

Further to the previous responses: This is a Meldezettel, confirming the registration, on 30 October 1937, of Frieda Hoenigsberg at a police station in Vienna. The document states that she was born in Kirschlag on 15 August 1912. At the time of registration she was living in Vienna's Sixth District at Hugo Wolfgasse 2, 5th floor.
